kacamata-gpsNavigation system or GPS (Global Positioning Systems) now becomes more personal. A technical expert from the University of Electro-Communications in Japan, made a special glasses equipped with GPS technology. This prototype has been exhibited at Wireless Japan 2010 event in Tokyo, Japan, last month. GPS goggles are claimed will make it easier for users to travel anywhere pointer directly present in front of him through the spectacles.

‘Wearable Personal Navigation System’ – so called for the glasses – comes with a battery, microcomputer, direct magnetic sensor and a number of lighting LED (Light Emitting Diode). How does it work? In order glasses work indicates the intended direction, users can simply type in the destination using a microcomputer. Thus, any direct walking route is calculated and data was sent directly to the glasses. Then, the LED on the glasses that have been integrated will change the color and placement of a position to indicate which direction the target-hungry users.

The creator of the glasses ‘magically’ gets the idea that the GPS device is currently judged impractical for users to repeatedly look at the screen while the device along the direction of the target. With glasses creations, users do not need many times to see the GPS device screen because the direction of the target already exists in front of his eyes. Interesting is not it? Unfortunately, for those interested in this GPS kacamat still have to wait a long time because the authors mentioned, this device is still in development stage.
