More than One thousand iPhone application has been withdrawn by Apple from his online store, the App Store, due to the action “astroturfing”. Astroturfing is the term for the product campaign designed to cause certain parties a good impression on marketed products, one of them through user reviews. Positive review booming reviewing these applications separately invite suspicion from one English blogger named Glyn Evans. Later, Evans is finally reveals the case that led to the removal of thousands of applications from Apple’s App Store.

One that made Evans is suspicious when a review found that large numbers of mostly positive tone, but the sentence was written with straggly and it seems only written by the user for application developers Molinker output only. Although Apple has not made a statement about the action a massive removal of their shops, but certainly in this case the developer Molinker be the guilty party. This is not the first time a company astoturfing case dragged on iPhone application store. But behind all this, there are lessons to be learned Apple, which is the opportunity to make a clear policy regarding the removal of an application.
