Cowon, a company that focuses on multimedia player devices, recently introduced a portable multimedia player (PMP) which has been equipped with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The Korean company named its Z2 Plenue PMP. This device uses 3.7-inch AMOLED screen with WVGA resolution (800 × 480 pixels). When viewed in terms of look, design similar to the Cowon D3 in the presence of a few physical buttons underneath. Z2 Plenue has been equipped with the 1GHz Cortex A8 processor with 512MB RAM and micro HDMI ports and a USB Micro.
Portable multimedia player is also equipped with Wifi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, and the battery resistance is claimed to reach 22 hours to play music, but can only survive 8-9 hours to play the video. Quoted from Electronista, Z2 Plenue will be available in South Korea at a price of $ 230 for the 8GB version of the Z2 and $ 300 for 32 GB version.
